  1. How have the painful or uncertain seasons in your life shaped your character, strengthened your faith, or revealed God’s purpose for you? "We also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope.” — Romans 5:3–4

Sometimes pain is not punishment, but preparation. Reflect on a season that felt difficult or uncomfortable. Looking back, did it teach your patience, wisdom, dependence on God, or reveal strength you didn’t know you had? God often develops purpose in places we least expect.

  2. Are you truly seeking God first in this season or are you still trying to control outcomes that require surrender and trust? "But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.” — Matthew 6:33

Think about the areas of your life causing the most stress or anxiety. Have you fully surrendered them to God through prayer and trust, or are you carrying the pressure alone? Seeking God first may look like praying before reacting, waiting before forcing, or trusting even when you cannot yet see the outcome.

  3. Have you taken time to acknowledge the inner healing, growth, and spiritual transformation God is doing within you before focusing on external blessings or results? "Man looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.” — 1 Samuel 16:7

We often focus on visible changes—success, relationships, finances, opportunities—but God is deeply concerned with the condition of our hearts. Reflect on how your mindset, emotional healing, discipline, or relationship with God has changed recently. Internal growth is often the first sign that God is moving in your life.
